Stress & Anxiety

What is Stress & Anxiety?

Stress and anxiety are natural responses to challenging or threatening situations, but when they become excessive or chronic, they can significantly impact mental and physical health. While closely related, stress and anxiety are distinct. Stress is typically a response to an external cause, such as work pressure, deadlines, or relationship issues, and usually subsides once the situation is resolved. Anxiety, on the other hand, is an internal response that involves excessive worry or fear, often without a specific or immediate threat, and may persist even in the absence of a clear cause.
