Stress and Anxiety
Anxiety is an emotion characterised by an inner turmoil & includes feelings of dread over anticipated events. Anxiety is different from fear in that fear is defined as the emotional response to a present threat, happening now.

Depression should not be confused with low mood. Each and every one of us from time to time may well suffer from low mood. This is perfectly natural and normally a reaction to life events or situations.

Phobias
An intense, persistent fear of something specific, like an object, situation or animal. This fear is disproportionate to the actual fact based actual danger posed by the trigger & can significantly interfere with daily life.

Confidence and Self Esteem
Low self esteem & lack of confidence can manifest as a general sense of inadequacy, self criticism & difficulty in achieving actionable goals.

Young Adults
Young adults in the Uk are facing a rising tide of mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety and low self esteem & lack of confidence. This has been caused in some part by academic stress, social media influence & lack of access to care.

Couples counselling is a supportive and structured space where partners can work through challenges, strengthen their connection, and build honest and healthier communication patterns with each other.
What Treatment Do I Need?
Georgie considers that each person is an individual and therefore should be treated accordingly. There is no one strategy that works for everyone. It is about building a relationship, understanding a person and their needs, making them feel safe and secure.
The space will be comfortable and secure enough to speak honestly. A tailored treatment plan will be discussed at the initial consultation and the number of treatments agreed. It is all about you.

Georgie was born and bred in West Sussex. She is an integrative therapist who has further training in hypnotherapy and is a full member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society, as well as the Hypnotherapy Society.
